It has been a long time in Skyband. Four years to be exact. Four years is a really long time. Every year i go through the pain and loss seeing seniors step down and leave us. Each year we get stronger and play better, recruiting new band members, teaching and honing their skills. We try our best. Now, we step down. We leave you guys to takecare of the future juniors, to love and discipline them like how we did. Life has to move on. I will come back as often as possible, just dont think we're irritating. Hahaha. Anw, I wont forget all the fun times we had. Every performance, every Cip, every new batch of sec ones( no matter how dumb you guys looked when you came in). Life in band was fulfilling. It was more than that, it was BAGUS! But, now is the time to step down and get back to reality, studies, O lvl. All of you will go through this again next year, and soon it will be your turn to step down. Just remember, Skyband did help in your development, Skyband is PART OF YOU. No matter how old you are, sitting in a broken down rusty old Old Folks Home, You are a Skyband member. No natural disaster will change that fact (: Just make a pact in your heart with yourself that you WILL come back to visit whenever you can, no matter how rare or how often, Pay a visit to our Skyband. Even if you dont remember a single face, We're still family (: Just of musical blood i guess. Haha. Appreciate and enjoy the time you have left in Skyband, cus i didnt do it enough. I miss everyone. I miss you all. Much as i hate to step down, I wish i could turn time back. A simple smile and a heartwarming laugh is enough to take you far, nurture love in the band. Go all out and do your best and dont let us down (:

And yes, we aimed for a Gold. We're not lousy. The best we did, we maintained standards. We got a Silver. It doesnt sound as magnificent or victorious like a Gold. But a Silver isn't bad either. Sad as i was we cried like hell, cussing and cursing, but no. We dont blame no one. No fault. Nothing. No matter how lousy we are, how fantastic, WE ARE ONE BAND ONE SOUND. We get together to become SKYBAND. We are not individuals. No one to be blamed for, but all to be thanked that we achieved a Silver. There are many factors to why we didnt achieve Gold. But, it's not to late to correct and work harder, for you guys. WORK HARD AND ACHIEVE A GOLD FOR US. You dont have to promise. All you need to do is your BEST. And that is all that we ask. EFFORT.
